Who we are

White Rabbit Theatre Company was founded in the summer of 2018, and produced its first play only a few months later in October of the same year. We started this to provide theatrical opportunities for local performers, technicians and audience members alike. At the time of establishment, very little English-speaking theatre was available in Zurich, and nothing that went beyond amateur clubs. Feeling creatively stifled, we decided to try and build a small, professional theatre company with profit-sharing and an open-book policy at its core. All production members have access to the financial books throughout the process, so everyone knows where and how money is being spent, and all profits are shared out at the end of a production equally.

White Rabbit is now in its sixth successful year and in addition to providing performance opportunities for local actors (including touring outside Switzerland), we also offer a catalogue or workshops and training programs to continue to grow and develop the skills of artists both here and abroad.
