About the Event
This Acting Shakespeare online course covers a wide range of topics necessary to performing William Shakespeare's work, including some of the most frequently performed plays in the English-speaking world. The class includes modules on reading and using Shakespeare's sometimes tricky language, physicality for the Shakespearean stage, common audition monologues, and practice in performing some of the Bard's most famous scenes! Accessible for beginners, but still useful for Shakespeare alums, this mini course is aimed at early dramatic performance, but will help improve general performance skills as well. Participant spaces are limited to allow for a quality online course where all students have an equal opportunity to work and perform in the online space.
This course will be taught by Jenna McKellips.
