Acting with Intimacy
Led by an Intimacy Director (with assistance from other local Intimacy Professionals), we will give students a chance to look at the theory and practice of working with intimate scenes such as physical contact, kissing, simulating sex and nudity on-stage and on-screen.

About the Event
In this workshop series we will look at performing scenes of intimacy in acting and theatre settings. Led by an Intimacy Director (with assistance from other local Intimacy Professionals), we will give students a chance to look at the theory and practice of working with intimate scenes such as physical contact, kissing, simulating sex and nudity on-stage and on-screen. Come with your questions and curiosities about staging all forms of intimacy and we'll work through them together!
Participants with any level of curiosity about working with intimate scenes are encouraged to join us, and students will be able to make informed choices about their involvement level in every practical and performance aspect of the course. For example, students are welcome to just join the discussion and theory portion and observe practical demonstrations rather than participate in them, or can opt in and out of practical demonstrations as they would like.
This course will be taught by Meg Adams.

There will also be an optional showcase which participants can perform in, to be held for an invited audience on Sept. 14 (evening).
