About the Event
Curious about what goes on behind the scenes? In this hands-on, 6-week course, you'll step into the role of stage manager for a fictional play. Limited to just 5 participants, this in-person course guides you through the key responsibilities and decision-making processes of a stage manager—from creating prompt books and rehearsal reports to plotting cues and schedules. Each week, you'll build your own mini stage management binder, gaining a solid theoretical foundation while preparing materials just as you would for a real production. No prior experience needed—just a love of theatre and a knack for organization!
This course will be taught by Courtney Beamish.
