Zoom Sessions

About the Event

The LAMDA training program is designed for both new actors, looking to develop and practice their acting skills as well as seasoned workers wanting to keep their skills sharp. The training focuses on monologue work, script analysis and character development. The training program offers two paths. The Training path offers 6 one-on-one private sessions where you will work individually with the instructor. Plans are individualized to each participant and what they hope to get out of the course. The Training and Exam path offers all of the above, along with a final exam with a member of the LAMDA staff. This additional element provides an invaluable "audition experience", as well as feedback from the examiner and a certificate of completion from a world recognized organization. White Rabbit has had an excellent track record with the LAMDA exams, with all our actors achieveing Merit and above (most receiving Distinction). We have also had actors complete their Bronze, Silver and Gold medals with us. White Rabbit Theatre Company is one of the only companies in Switzerland which offers LAMDA training to adults and children.

Places are limited.

Registration of interest is not binding. Once a participant has registered interest, they will be contacted by White Rabbit to discuss the program and answer any questions.

Location

All training sessions as well as the exams are fully online, via Zoom (therefore you do not have to be located in Switzerland to participate).

Time

Sessions are offered on weekday evenings and on weekends (weekend fee may apply). Once a participant has registered their interest, they will be contacted by White Rabbit to set up a session time (either weekly or biweekly) that works for them.

Participants training for Grades 1-5 will have 30 minute sessions (x6). Participants sitting exams Grades 6-8 will have 60 minute sessions (x6) or 30 minute sessions (x12).

Date

Although LAMDA has not yet released their exam dates for the new season, we aim to begin training sessions in mid August with exam dates tentatively in October (for those who choose the Training path without examination, we can be flexible here).

Once a participant has registered their interest, they will be contacted by White Rabbit to set up a session time (either weekly or biweekly) that works for them.

Cost*

Grades are individually priced based on prices set out by LAMDA. After registering interest, you will be contacted by White Rabbit to discuss costs and appropriate grade level for the participant, should they choose to go ahead with the program.

*If you are interested in this program but are concerned about costs, please register your interest anyway and we would be happy to discuss playment options.
