About the Event

This single day workshop will combine creative writing and acting, with a focus on Ancient Greek Drama. The workshop will explore how a writer creates a character and how an actor can bring that character to life. Participants will have a chance to focus particularly on developing their monologue work, exploring both the creation and performance aspects. They will have the opportunity to delve into the process of developing characters from the writer's perspective and then portray those characters authentically as actors.
